The Prince and the Pauper (Barnes & Noble Classics)
i'm a big fan of mark twain and this is a nice, simple read with a good message for kids about identity, self image, and morality. and a good dig on (some) privilege and oppression to boot. i do hope for a bit more from him usually, though, but give him slack because this isn't a book meant only for adults to read.
