The Lovely Bones

The Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold i really, really liked this book. it's possible that my ability to think clearly was compromised as i read this book in one extra long sitting (about 12 hours; from around 5pm to 5am due to a delayed flight and my inability to sleep on planes). while i'm not sure how much i absorbed while reading throughout the night, i do know that i really enjoyed it. i was impressed by how she was able to take a serious subject, one that kept me tearing up throughout, and had me laughing regularly. i didn't like every choice she made as a storyteller, but i can appreciate why she made them. some of those choices weakened part of the ending, in my opinion, or this would be 4 stars, and maybe it should be anyway.
