4.5 stars. i might end up being an evangelist for this book for anyone who advocates for anyone or anything on any level at all. it's not perfect, and if i'm being honest i really can't compare it to other books in this category (self-care, self-help, spirituality) because i don't read these kind of books. but it was accessible and not over the top for someone who doesn't want to read self-help, but wants some guidance on self-care and managing secondary/vicarious trauma. this is one that i feel like i'll need to go back to over and over.
